BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust (BPT)

BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust operates as a grantor trust. It holds overriding royalty interests constituting a nonoperational interest in minerals in the Prudhoe Bay oil field located on the North Slope in Alaska. The Prudhoe Bay field extends approximately 12 miles by 27 miles containing approximately 150,000 productive acres. The royalty interests entitle the trust to a royalty on 16.4246% of the first 90,000 barrels of the average actual daily net production of oil and condensate per quarter. The trust was founded in 1989 and is based in New York City.
